Chelsea win at Fulham triggers obligation to buy Sancho from Man Utd

The Blues scored two late goals at Craven Cottage to beat Fulham 1-2 on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League. As well as reviving their chances of Champions League football next season, the win also ensured Chelsea would finish the campaign above 15th.
An obligation to buy Jadon Sancho, on loan at Manchester United, has consequently been triggered, with the 24-year-old winger's deal involving a clause to make the move permanent for up to £25 million if Chelsea finish at least 14th in the English top flight.
As it has been reported earlier, the west London side have an option to override the transfer by paying the Red Devils £5 million at the end of the term. It is therefore up to Sancho to convince the club not to get out of the obligation by impressing them on the pitch.
A final decision on Sancho's future will be made at the end of the season, with five games remaining until the Premier League is concluded. Having burned the bridge with Man United, the former Dortmund star will be keen on staying at Chelsea and reviving his career.
