Chelsea to land £5m Eden Hazard bonus from Real Madrid

Madrid fans are living a moment full of happiness. After winning La Liga title and celebrating the trophy with their fans, Real Madrid are now eyeing the Champions League. Europe's top tier competition is the big objective now and it is not for less because it could be the 15th trophy in their history.

There are still more than two weeks to go before they face Borussia Dortmund at Wembley, an appointment that has generated an extra expense. The ‘Merengue’, according to the 'Telegraph', will have to pay Chelsea almost 6 million euros for Eden Hazard.

The Belgian's transfer to Madrid cost the 'Merengue' outfit 130 million pounds plus 40 million in add-ons (160 million euros) and Marina Granovskaia, who was the Blues general manager at the time, managed to include a bonus of 5 million pounds (almost 6 million euros) if 'Los Blancos' reached a European final.
