Chelsea take pole position for Mamardashvili

Valencia player Giorgi Mamardashvili is one of the ten best goalkeepers in La Liga despite the bad situation his club are going through.

The 22-year-old has conceded 36 goals in 31 competitive matches for the Spanish side this season. According to the 'COPE', Mamardashvili could play in the Premier League next campaign despite having a contract until 2027.

The same media outlet reports that his agents travelled to London to meet with Chelsea as the English board are keen to sign him in the summer.

The Blues overtook Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in the race for his transfer. Nonetheless, his inner circle also met with the two clubs to know Valencia's conditions.
