Chelsea's Nkunku situation remains stable despite PSG transfer speculation

Contrary to recent speculation, there are currently no ongoing negotiations or talks between Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea regarding the transfer of Christopher Nkunku. The French forward, who joined Chelsea in July 2023 for £52 million, has been the subject of transfer rumours due to his limited playing time under manager Enzo Maresca. 

While there is a possibility that Nkunku could seek a move if his situation doesn't improve, Chelsea are not actively looking to sell the player. PSG, despite being Nkunku's former club, are reportedly focusing on different types of players in the transfer market. 

The 26-year-old's contract with Chelsea runs until 2029, giving the club a strong position in any potential transfer discussions. Despite scoring 10 goals in competitive matches this season, Nkunku has struggled to secure a regular starting position. 

Chelsea's stance remains firm, with the club believing Nkunku can recapture his form and contribute significantly to the team. As the January transfer window progresses, top clubs remain attentive to Nkunku's situation, but for now, his immediate future appears to be at Stamford Bridge
