Chelsea keen on Southampton's Pelle

Chelsea are set to make a formal bid for Southampton's Graziano Pelle in the coming days, according to Sky Italia.

Despite already having confirmed the signing of Belgium international Michy Batshuayi over the weekend, incoming boss Antonio Conte has asked the club to submit an offer for the Italian striker, with whom he has been working with at Euro 2016.

However, the 30-year-old has various club's after him, and Chelsea could have to battle it out with Everton and AC Milan if they want to bring him to Stamford Bridge.

Pelle has also been linked with a €15m-per-season move to the Chinese Super League.
