Chelsea hoping to land Lukaku for £60m

According to the 'Daily Mail', Chelsea feel as though they only need to increase their offer by £3m in order to sign Lukaku, despite Everton wanting £75m for the striker. 

The Blues have seen a number of transfer targets escape them this summer, having failed to sign Gonzalo Higuain, Edinson Cavani and Alvaro Morata. 

This means that the west London club are determined to bring back the man they sold to the Toffees for £28m two years ago and are prepared to pay over double the price they sold him for.
