Chelsea could rescind Musonda's contract

He was a promising player. Musonda was among the best U18 players in Europe, but an injury could have ruined it. He is just 25 years old, but he hasn't played an official game in two years. The winger could now rescind his Chelsea contract.
The 'Blues' kept paying him as they always trusted his potential. But it seems like the club is now running out of patience. The last game he played was for Vitesse, a club where he played on loan. in August 2019.
It was then when he suffered the worst injury he ever had. He injured his knee, had to get surgery and has been resting for two years. A couple of weeks ago he played for Chelsea's U23 team, after 900 days out.
The main question now is if he can go back to being that promising player he once was. One thing is clear, Chelsea won't wait to find out. Musonda's contract finishes in June 2022, but it seems like he will rescind it and become a free agent in January.
