Chelsea confirm Chukwuemeka will travel London to complete move

Carney Chukwuemeka's future has been flipped on its head. The talented young Aston Villa player had attracted interest from some of Europe's best clubs, such as Barcelona, AC Milan, and PSG.

However, after acting quickly in the market, Chelsea have gotten themselves ahead of the rest in the race for the player's signature and, they have now almost entirely sealed the deal to secure his future at Stamford Bridge. The club themselves have confirmed this news.

Chukwuemeka will travel to the English capital imminently to finalise the terms of his new contract and complete his medical. The fee that The Blues will be handing over to The Villians is 20 million euros.

Following the loose ends being tied, the 18 year old centre midfielder will become a Chelsea player and will sign a deal until 2028. Despite his age, he appeared 14 times in Aston Villa's first team last season and regular in the squad.
