Chelsea confident in keeping Hudson-Odoi amid Bayern links

Chelsea are now confident that they can keep their young star, Callum Hudson-Odoi, with the Europa League Champions looking to seal a new contract in the coming days.
Hudson-Odoi, 18, turned down several offers from Chelsea as he was desperate to sign for Bayern in January.
Bayern bid for the young English international on 4 seperate occasions, with Chelsea refusing them all, and Bayern eventually deciding to wait until the summer to attempt to sign him.
However, with Hudson-Odoi suffering a nasty achilles tear against Burnley late in the Premier League season, it is thought that his opinion of leaving London has changed.
The German Champions did previously say that they would still be looking to sign Hudson-Odoi this summer, as they look for long term replacements for their legendary duo of Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben.
Chelsea now believe that with an offer of 100,000 pounds a week, they could persuade him to stay, especially with Eden Hazard seemingly on his way out and the opportunity of first team football available, with Chelsea in next season's Champions League.
Chelsea have also been rumoured to be willing to hand Hudson-Odoi the number 10 shirt likely to be vacated by Hazard, with that gesture alone thought to be enough to keep hold of their young English starlet.
