Celtic want Gunter after Euro 2016 displays

Brendan Rodgers is looking to sign Reading and Wales full-back Chris Gunter after a string of impressive performances at Euro 2016. 

The Wales star has a £1 million release clause in his contract with the Royals and is said to be on the new Celtic manager's wish list. 

Gunter provided a pinpoint cross for striker Sam Vokes for Wales's third goal in their quarter-final tie against Belgium on Friday and managed to keep Belgian winger Eden Hazard quiet for most of the game. 

The 26-year-old has 72 caps for his country and may well be the first ever Wales player to win 100 caps.
