Celtic target £10m-rated McKenna

The 21-year-old has become a man in demand in recent months, with the 'Dons' successfully seeing off interest from Hull and Swansea.

McKenna already has four Scotland caps despite his tender age and is highly rated by both the Aberdeen and Scotland coaching staff.

He is under contract with the club until 2023 and is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury that is likely to keep him out until the end of the month.

The strapping centre-half made 34 appearances for Aberdeen last season and his club are thought to value him at £10m, significantly higher than Celtic's own valuation.
