Catalan derby: CONFIRMED line-ups for Girona v Barca

Girona welcome Barcelona to the Estadio Montilivi for the 34th La Liga matchday in a Catalan derby that could decide the Spanish competition. Madrid play hours earlier and a victory for the ‘Merengues’ against Cadiz would put a lot of pressure on Xavi Hernandez's side.

If Barcelona drop a point on their visit to Girona, Real Madrid will be crowned champions of La Liga for the 2023/24 season. If that is the case, Los Blancos will earn a record-extending 36th Spanish title.

Moreover, it is a battle for second place as the ‘Cules’ and Michel's side, who have made history by securing European competition for next term, are only two points apart and the winner would be one step closer to securing second place.
