Carvajal sends Shaw 'get well soon' message after England star's injury

Shaw was enjoying a good game having returned to the England side following a lengthy absence, laying on Marcus Rashford's opener with a trademark surge down the left.
However, his game was cut short just after half-time as he was stretchered off with his neck in a brace following a collision with Carvajal.
Both players challenge for a searching ball out towards the Spain right, with Shaw winning the header but seeing his head collide with Carvajal's hip.
That saw the 23-year-old knocked unconscious and there were serious concerns as his head crashed into the turf upon landing.
Shaw was given on the pitch and taken for a precautionary x-ray the following day, but is understood to have avoided serious damage.
According to English publication 'The Sun', Carvajal went to the England dressing room following the game to pass on his best wishes to the full-back, only to find he was being treated elsewhere.
Instead, he asked Shaw's United team-mate David de Gea for his number and sent his get well soon message in SMS form.
Shaw himself allayed fears about his condition barely an hour after suffering his injury, tweeting: "Thank you for all the love and support I am doing fine and am in the best hands. I’m a fighter so I will be back soon!"
Ben Chilwell has been called into the England squad to replce Shaw.
