Carlos Vinicius' move to Eintracht Frankfurt looking less likely

After his loan deal at Tottenham Hotspur, Carlos Vinicius returned to Benfica, but he may not be there for a lot of time because the Portuguese club have put the player on the market.
As a result of this, Eintracht Frankfurt, one of the top teams in the Bundesliga in recent years, had shown interest, but talks do not seem to have gone well.
According to Portuguese paper 'Record', talks between the clubs regarding a possible loan deal have fallen through in the last few days.
The newspaper says that the German club are only interested in a loan deal without being forced to buy the player. Benfica, however, want a compulsory purchase clause at the end of the season to be included in the deal.
Last term, as well as two games for Benfica, Carlos Vinicius made a total of 22 appearances for Tottenham, 10 of them as a starter. Despite only playing 966 minutes, the Brazilian scored 10 goals and gave three assists.
