Caparros fires back at Las Palmas over Bade complaint

Las Palmas had considered filing a complaint against Sevilla for allegedly fielding Loic Bade in breach of concussion protocols, following his substitution in the Celta vs Sevilla match.
The defender featured three days later against Las Palmas, prompting questions about whether the medical guidelines had been respected. In the end, the Canary Islanders decided not to proceed with legal action.
Caparros defended the club's handling of the situation and took aim at Las Palmas for their reaction: "The club consulted where it needed to. I'm surprised by Las Palmas, because they did something very similar with one of their own players — their goalkeeper. He played again shortly after, and no one said anything."
He was referring to Jasper Cillessen, who suffered a head injury against Atletico Madrid on 3rd November but returned just five days later to face Rayo Vallecano — despite FIFA guidelines recommending a six-day minimum recovery after head trauma.
"We're not going to get into these kinds of things," Caparros added. Las Palmas' defeat at the Sanchez-Pizjuan sealed their relegation, and the club has since confirmed it will not pursue any legal case.
Caparros also expressed frustration over La Liga's handling of fixture timings, after changes to the Sevilla–Madrid kick-off were later reversed. "It wouldn't make sense to change it," he insisted.
"Sevilla will stand firm to play at the original time. There's been no talk of any alternative."
