Camavinga sends message to Madrid fans about his injury

Eduardo Camavinga spoke out on social media on Thursday after learning the extent of his sprained left knee. The French midfielder gave a message of calm and ambition to Real Madrid fans.

"Deeply disappointed to pick up this injury and miss the start of the season. I will work hard to be back soon. Thank you for all the messages of support over the last few hours and also want to wish the team well for the game tonight! Always thank god," he posted.

A setback for Carlo Ancelotti, who will be without Eduardo Camavinga for the next two months. The Frenchman was likely to play in Warsaw against Atalanta as a warm-up ahead of the La Liga opener against Real Mallorca.

Although everything will depend on his evolution during the recovery process, we will have to wait to see the No.6 back. The heir to Nacho Fernandez's jersey will also be absent from Real Madrid's return to the Champions League in its new format.
