Brighton won't sign Ansu Fati permanently, Sevilla and Wolves on the horizon

Last summer Barcelona decided to loan Ansu Fati to Brighton & Hove Albion but it has not gone as expected. Injuries have weighed him down and he has not been able to adapt. So far this season, he has played 23 games, but he has only started nine. He has four goals and one assist.

De Zerbi does not count on him beyond June and, as a result, he will return to Barcelona as soon as his loan ends in a couple of months. The Camp Nou have no place for him either and they are already looking for a way out, according to 'Sport'.

It should not be too difficult for Barcelona to find a place for Ansu Fati, who has a very good reputation. In fact, several options are already on the table.

Ansu Fati's agent Jorge Mendes is trying to make progress on a deal. The agent could force a loan move to Wolves, but neither the player nor Barcelona are convinced that he will stay in the Premier League.

In La Liga, Valencia and Sevilla are interested in having the striker. But they cannot afford to pay his full fee, so Barcelona would have to keep paying part of his salary if they want to place him at either of these two Spanish clubs.

Ansu Fati was hoping to make a move to Barcelona after his time in the Premier League, but he has not fared too well and a return is all but ruled out. Even if Raphinha were to leave, the club would not consider making room for the Spanish forward.
