Brighton's Mitoma to face Fulham despite injury scare

Brighton are expected to have Kaoru Mitoma back for this weekend's Premier League clash against Fulham. Head coach Hurzeler confirmed that the Japanese star has shrugged off an injury scare suffered in last week's 2-1 win over Newcastle in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Mitoma went down on the pitch and gestured towards his left knee before being replaced by Solly March in the 91st minute of the game. Nevertheless, Hurzeler played down the blow as he spoke during a pre-match press conference earlier on Friday.
“He just had a cramp, so he will be an option," said the German manager ahead of Saturday's fixture at the Amex. The 27-year-old is therefore set to continue his record under Hurzeler at Brighton of never missing a Premier League game.
Having contributed to 11 goals this season for the Seagulls, Mitoma's inclusion is a huge boost for the club. Brighton find themselves in 8th place in the English top flight standings, but are still well in the race for the European spots as they sit four points behind City in fourth.
