Bradley 'over the moon' after scoring his first goal for Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland beat Scotland 1-0 in an international friendly at Hampden Park in Glasgow, Scotland, on Tuesday. Conor Bradley, who is having a superb season, netted the winner to give the visitors the victory.

"Definitely the best one I've scored. We lost the ball and I tried to win it back as quickly as I could and I took a touch and the whole far corner just opened up for me so I thought why not have a strike. It took a nick and just flew in the top corner. Sometimes you get a bit of luck on your side," he told reporters.

The 20-year-old has become a key player in Jurgen Klopp's squad as he is stepping up to the level to take the place of the injured Trent Alexander-Arnold in Liverpool's usual line-up.

"I'm over the moon. It's one I've been dreaming of for quite a while, to score my first international goal and I don't think even in my dreams it was that good a goal. I was just buzzing and really happy we got the win, it's massive for our confidence as a team, knowing we can beat a team going to the Euros," he concluded.
