Besiktas interested in Lucas Perez

32 year-old striker Lucas Perez is being watched by Besiktas. According to 'Fanatik', agent Erkurt Sogut has held talks with the club to negotiate with the Turkish side. 

Lucas Perez has a contract at Deportivo Alaves until 2022. Besiktas will not be the first club he has played for outside of Europe. In 2010, he was at Karpaty Lviv in Ukraine. 

In 2014, he returned to Spain to play for several seasons at Deportivo La Coruna. During that time, he was at PAOK Salonika and two seasons at Arsenal. The last time he changed club was to go to Alaves in 2019 which is where he is now. 

Last term, Lucas Perez had problems with then coach Abelardo. "He didn't count on me because he thought that I'd disrespected him and my teammates," the striker said on 'El Transistor'. 

With the arrival of Calleja, the Galician striker started playing again for the Basques. Now, Turkish side Besiktas think he could be a great reinforcement for their strike force.
