Benzema missed a golden chance

Benzema was given a big opportunity to open the scoring during the first half of the tie, after Marquinhos let the ball run down the left side of the pitch. 

The Frenchman pounced on the stray ball and charged into PSG's box, going one-on-one with the keeper. 

However, with just Areola to beat, Benzema failed to score, as the PSG keeper denied his effort with a save using his feet. 

Benzema will be kicking himself, as an away goal would have made the tie very difficult for PSG.
