Benzema doesn't do rest days

Karim Benzema was Real Madrid's most significant absence in the game against Elche. Carlo Ancelotti wanted the French striker to be fully rested as 'Los Blancos' chase the first spot at their Champions League group. 

The French star showed up on Sunday, the team's day off, to Madrid's training ground. He doesn't want to rest, he wants to be on his best form for the Champions League clash. 

'Mundo Deportivo' reported on Sunday morning that Karim Benzema showed up at Real Madrid's training ground. 

Benzema will be available for Carlo Ancelotti ahead of the Shakhtar Donetsk game. Real Madrid needs to get a win to avoid suffering to make it to the next round.
