Benzema and Nacho, on the list for Sevilla along with young Rafa Marin

Real Madrid have realeased their official squad list for their league match against Sevilla this Sunday. Throughout the week, there were doubts on whether Benzema, Nacho and others would be fit to play after picking up knocks in their Champions League match with Chelsea. However, both the Frenchman and the Spaniard have been included in the publication of the squad. 

In the defense, Carlo Ancelotti looks as though he has been obliged to include the home-grown talent of Rafa Marin. As well as him, the only other defenders available are: Carvajal, Militao, Alaba and Nacho. Knocks and niggles have reduced the defensive options for the Italian coach. Perhaps he will experiment now his options are reduced. For example, Gareth Bale is in the squad and he has experience as a full back. 

This is how the official squad list reads: Courtois, Lunin, Diego; Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Nacho, Rafa Marín; Kroos, Modric, Fede Valverde, Lucas Vázquez, Isco, Camavinga; Benzema, Asensio, Bale, Vinicius, Rodrygo and Mariano. This game could see the players who started the midweek match against Chelsea rested. 

As Sevilla are one of the closest rivals to Real in terms of winning LaLiga this year, all focus is on Ancelotti and his tactics for this game, especially concerning the makeshift defense he will have to scheme. More game time for Camavinga (who has been responding well), a change of the 'old guard' in the centre of the field as Casemiro is absent, the changes in defense... there is a lot to think about.
