Bayern set to offload Bryan Zaragoza after Osasuna loan

Bryan Zaragoza's dream of making it at Bayern Munich appears to be nearing its end. On Wednesday, Sport Bild reported that the club no longer consider him part of their plans for next season and are therefore open to offers for the 23-year-old, who is currently out on loan at Osasuna.
The Malaga-born winger made an explosive impact in La Liga. After a promising season as a super-sub in the second tier, he burst onto the scene in the first half of the 2023/24 campaign with newly promoted Granada. His performances caught the attention of Bayern Munich, who paid around €14 million to secure his signature in January 2024.
"At first, I just want to make my debut, help my teammates, learn from these great players and win titles with Bayern. I want to win everything," he said during his unveiling. However, his adaptation was far from smooth. Language barriers—something highlighted at the time by then-manager Thomas Tuchel—hampered his integration, and he only managed 178 minutes across seven appearances.
In the summer, Bayern sought a loan move to get him more playing time, which he has found at Osasuna. There, he is enjoying a strong season, having featured in 22 matches, scoring once and providing five assists. He's also established himself as one of the most skilful dribblers in the league. Nevertheless, Bayern remain unconvinced, believing the player has no long-term future at the club.
One of the key factors behind this decision is the shake-up in the club's sporting direction. Max Eberl has arrived at the Allianz Arena with a mission to overhaul the squad. He has already made bold calls—such as choosing not to renew Thomas Muller's contract—and is actively seeking exits for players he views as misjudged signings under the previous regime, including Sacha Boey and Bryan Zaragoza.
While the blow of falling short at one of Europe's giants is undoubtedly a tough one, the player's future remains bright. Several top clubs in Spain and across the continent are closely monitoring the winger, whose flair and unpredictability make him one of the most intriguing talents likely to be available on the market this July.
