Bayern Munich monitoring Nkunku and Eze after Musiala's serious injury

Jamal Musiala's unfortunate injury at the Club World Cup has been a blow for Bayern. The playmaker suffered a fractured fibula that could keep him out of action for around five months. Faced with this situation, the Bavarians are not standing still and are looking for alternatives in the market while they wait for his return.
According to 'The Times', the German club have set their sights on the Premier League and are looking at two players. The first, a former Bundesliga player who is not doing well at all: Christopher Nkunku. Between injuries and lack of confidence, the striker has not made a good impact at Chelsea and could leave this summer, two years after the Blues paid Leipzig 60 million euros for him.
Although his numbers are not bad (15 goals in 46 games), they are discreet compared to what was expected of him. He arrived after scoring 58 goals and providing 22 assists in two years with Leipzig, but has struggled for continuity. Before the 2022 World Cup he suffered an ACL injury and after joining the Londoners he suffered another knee injury, followed by almost continuous muscular problems.
However, he is a proven player in Germany and can play as a midfielder, as a playmaker and striker, which is exactly what Bayern need. In the meantime, Chelsea could give him facilities, although their intention is to sell him and not to loan him out. But as we say, he is not the only option the Bavarians are considering.
The same media also points to Eberechi Eze, a Crystal Palace winger who can also play in different positions. The 27-year-old Nigerian-born Londoner has been at a high level in the Premier League for several seasons, and this past season he has definitely made his breakthrough with 15 goals and 11 assists. He was excellent down the stretch, scoring seven goals in the last seven games. Among them, the winner in the FA Cup final against Manchester City.
Bayern's style of play has been struggling for a long time, but Jamal Musiala's injury exacerbated the problem. Leroy Sane and Thomas Muller left, so the hole was already considerable. And after losing Florian Wirtz and Nico Williams to Liverpool and Athletic, the Bavarians are looking for alternatives.
