The future of Alphonso Davies is up in the air, but there are more and more reports that bring the Canadian closer to Real Madrid. According to Carlos Carpio, the 'Merengues' are already preparing to negotiate for the full-back. It is also claimed that Bayern Munich are likley to let him leave and have already set a price tag of 50 million euros.
Fabrizio Romano claims that La Liga giants have been Davies' favourite destination since October. He also claims that Bayern will sell him if he does not renew his contract and does not want him to leave for free at the end of his contract. The journalist affirms that the cost of the transfer will be key in the operation.
Marca report that the player said "yes" to Madrid some time ago and Romano explains that there are no problems between Davies and the Madrid team in personal terms. Knowing this, the main issue of the operation is in the agreement between clubs.
Carpio suggests that Real Madrid will start talks with an offer of 35 million euros. The Madrid board are looking to try and lower the price of the signing as they did with the signing of Toni Kroos, who ended up costing 25 million.
