Bayern have Neuer replacement: Sommer arrives in Munich

Bayern Munich have found the perfect relacement for Manuel Neuer, who suffered a serious injury and will miss the rest of the season. Providing there are no problems, Yann Sommer will become the German side's new goalkeeper.

According to 'Sky Sports', the Swiss shot-stopper landed in Munich this Wednesday and went straight to a centre to undergo the medical.

If everything goes well, Sommer will sign his contract and will become Bayern's new keeper, embarking on the difficult challenge of replacing Neuer, one of the main men of the Bavarian side.

It is claimed in Germany that the multi-champions wil pay around €8 million to get the Borrusia Mochengladbach and Swiss international on board. The announcement is imminent.

Sommer is 34 and he comes with a lot of experience in German football, where thanks to his good performances, he has become one of the best goalkeepers in the world. He will now have the chance to prove his worth at a giant like Bayern.
