Barcelona targeting Almeria full-back Marc Pubill

Barcelona face these last few days of the transfer window with several options open. Although the sporting directors have not revealed their objectives for the last few days, signing a player for the right-back position seems to be one of them.
‘Relevo’ has put Marc Pubill's name on the table. The Spanish full-back belongs to Almeria, but seems destined to leave the Andalusian club in this transfer window.
Pubill was Olympic champion just a few weeks ago and was already preparing for his departure to Atalanta, who were very interested in him and had almost closed his signing in exchange for 15 million euros in an important sale for Almeria, but the deal fell through in its final phase and the player, for now, had not given any more clues about his future.
Now, the 'Cules' are knocking on his door. He would fit in with a planning from which Joao Cancelo is already leaving - it seems that he will go to Saudi Arabia - and only Jules Kounde - he is not a natural full-back - and Hector Fort were in the squad with the possibility of occupying the right-back position. Pubill occupies that position and fits the physical and technical standards that Hansi Flick would demand.
