Barcelona 'a big club' but work like a small one, says Bravo

Claudio Bravo's life is still linked to the world of football, even though the Chilean goalkeeper is without a team after his departure from Real Betis. However, the former Barcelona player once again referred to his former team, to whom he left a good message on the programme directed by Marcelo Ramirez.

"Barcelona are a big club, but they work like a small team. Madrid and Barcelona must be the biggest on a media level, on a popularity level, the best known. Wherever you move in the world they fill the stadiums," he said.

"Barcelona are gigantic, but internally they are very small, you always see the same faces, few people: players, staff, three or four guards, the cook and little else," he added.

Bravo also compared the Catalan giants to Manchester City: "Meanwhile, you go to Manchester City and they are a gigantic club, internally, gigantic. Their level of resources is unlimited. People in the swimming pool, people in the dressing room, people in the medical area, people in the gyms.

"There are plenty of people. They don't skimp on resources or personnel to make sure that the player develops in the best possible way and that he lacks absolutely nothing. You worry about playing, we have the best physio, the best physical trainer in the gym, and not one but two and three. In the medical area you have twenty stretchers and not five," Bravo finished.
