Barca star Gavi ended Osasuna clash with three points and three staples

Gavi made his third start in Barcelona's visit to El Sadar in the La Liga matchday 4. At the start of the season, it seemed that Oriol Romeu had taken his place in midfield, but Xavi Hernandez has been using him as a false winger, which has given him more opportunities. The match against Osasuna, however, ended with a serious injury for the youth player.

The 'Cules' midfielder intercepted a run by Ruben Garcia, who was trying to get past him in one of Jagoba Arrasate's men's attacks in the second half. The Andalusian stepped in front of the Osasuna player as he tried to get away from him and, as he raised his arm to get past him, he accidentally elbowed him in the ear. It wasn't long before there was blood on his shirt and he was attended to by doctors.

After a few moments on the sideline, he returned to the pitch with three staples in his lobe. The Catalan club, through their social networks, shared an image of the young player with a smile on his face and showing his injury, which is an anecdotal incident. 

The 19-year-old midfielder cares little for this misfortune as Barcelona took the three points in a very difficult match against Osasuna. The 'Rojillos' had just been eliminated from the preliminary round of the Conference League against Brugge, but the Barcelona giants, thanks to a penalty from Alejandro Catena on Robert Lewandowski, took the lead and managed to win at El Sadar Stadium.
