Barca's target Moukouko unclear about his future

Youssufa Moukoko, who made his debut for Germany - one of Spain's opponents at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar - against Oman on Wednesday and who turns 18 on Sunday, told the German team's first press conference since arriving in the host country on Saturday that he is in the national team to learn.
For his 18th birthday, Moukoko is clear about his gift: he wants "all three points" in the match against Japan (23rd). "Hopefully I'll be able to score goals," said the promising German footballer.
"Flick, the coach, has put his faith in me, so I'm going to go all out. And I want to have fun. I'm not thinking about that chance that almost turned into a goal. To be here, at a World Cup, at 17 years old, it's not something very common. And in the end it's up to the coach to decide whether I play or not," said the young Borussia Dortmund striker in reference to the four-time champions' coach Hansi Flick.
"I'm here to learn and I'm happy to get advice from such established team-mates as Thomas Muller. We're all 26 of Germany's best players here. I'm very proud to be here and I know that I'm going to learn a lot at this tournament," said the young striker.
Moukoko said that he would have liked to "play with Miroslav Klose", the former Germany striker and all-time leading scorer at World Cups, at this press conference in which he appeared with captain Manuel Neuer, who is twice his age.
On his future at Borussia, he said it is not the time to talk about it. "I will make the decision when the time comes. I'm happy at Dortmund and I know Terzic trusts me. You will find out if I stay at Borussia or not," he said. Words that Barcelona, who have him on their agenda for the 2023-24 season, will take note of.
