Banega will end the season with Sevilla

The coronavirus caused chaos in world football. The players whose contracts were expiring on 30th June were especially concerned. One of them was Ever Banega.

Finally, according to 'Radio Marca', Banega has apparently decided to stay at Sevilla until the end of the season. The Andalusian side can use him for the Europa League if they so choose.

The radio station says Banega trained normally this Wednesday, one day after his contract expired, a clear sign that his deal had been extended.

Banega has done his bit to make sure he can finish the season with Sevilla. The club are expected to make it official either on Wednesday or Thursday.

Al Shabab of Saudi Arabia, will be his next destination. But before that, he will complete the campaign at Sevilla.
