Balotelli levels a 50 year-old record... with a brace!

In Italy, they have got excited about Balotelli's recovery after a bad year in Nice. And it seems like the 28 year-old striker is showing his best for Marseille.

In the match against Angers, he opened the scoring very quickly. In the 4th minute, Balotelli took advantage of a defensive error to be one on one with Butelle before beating him with ease after controlling with his chest. It was not offside.

Just 12 minutes afterwards, Balotelli found the net again to make it 2-0. This time, the striker received in the D and he snuck the ball in by the right hand post despite having a defender in front of him. 

As a result, 'SuperMario' equalled Josip Skoblar's 50 year-old record of scoring in his first five home games for Marseille. The Italian has so far scored five goals in seven games. Unfortuately for him, Angers fought back in this fixture and got a 2-2 draw at the Stade Velodrome.
