Atletico received a huge welcome from fans ahead of Madrid derby

The Spanish capital was completely paralysed. A new edition of the Madrid derby was just around the corner and the Civitas Metropolitano was filled with fans as the match approached.

The first of the teams to arrive was Real Madrid. They did so to a resounding roar of boos but without incident. Moreover, their entrance was through an alternative entrance to the stadium and with a low concentration of fans.

As expected, the big moment of the pre-match was to be the arrival of the Atletico bus. It did so just a few minutes after their opponents and with a red and white tide cheering on their players. Cheers and red flares flooded the atmosphere before a match like no other.

Ancelotti fielded the expected eleven, while Cholo Simeone surprised: he dropped Koke and Lino from the starting eleven and was very offensive, bringing together Griezmann, Sorloth and Julian Alvarez. Furthermore, all indications are that Nahuel Molina will start on the right wing.
