Atleti suspend gathering: new positives could be confirmed

Bad news for Simeone. He could lose some players for the match on Monday against Celta Vigo.

According to 'Jugones', Atlético are awaiting the results of the latest PCR tests carried out on the squad. The club has decided to suspend the gathering.

'Marca' adds that Atlético could have two more positives. In any case, they have to wait until the results arrive to confirm it.

Atlético face Celta at the Metropolitano. To avoid risks, there will be no usual gathering before the match. The players will travel directly to the stadium for the fixture.

For now, four players have tested positive: Démbélé, Joao Félix, Mario Hermoso and Carrasco. The latter already tested negative on Sunday and trained alone. Simeone said that Atlético would inform about his possibility of playing against Celta.
