Aston Villa and Roma agree on the transfer of Robin Olsen for 3.5 million

Aston Villa has announced the signing of Robin Olsen, 32-year-old Swedish international goalkeeper. The goalkeeper already knows what it is to play in the English club, as this season has been part of the ranks of the British team, where he has played on loan from Roma.
Although he has only been able to enjoy one game after his loan in January, Aston Villa have decided to execute his buyout clause, for which it has paid 3.5 million euros to the Italian team, according to different sources, as the club have not disclosed the cost of the operation.
Olsen has committed to the Premier League club until June 30th, 2024, that is for the next two seasons, in which he will fight to become the first-choice goalkeeper for the English side.
The former Roma player has a long career as a professional footballer, having played for clubs such as Malmo, Roma, Cagliari, Everton and Sheffield United, among others.
