Youri Tielemans is a player who is being targeted by half of Europe. The Leicester midfielder finishes his contract in June 2023 and has clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester United and Arsenal interested in him. However, a new team has joined the bidding and this is none other than Barcelona.
Of the aforementioned entities, the most likely to sign him in a few months are the Gunners. According to the Mirror, the Foxes are obliged to sell him this season, as his contract expires in June and the Belgian international is not willing to renew his contract.
The same media outlet reported that Mikel Arteta's Arsenal are one step ahead of top teams such as Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.
Leicester, for their part, continue to avoid talking about the issue with the aim of keeping Tielemans at the King Power Stadium. "It's not something we're thinking about and it's not something the club have said we should do. We don't want to get rid of our best players, that's for sure," said Brendan Rodgers, the club's manager.
