Arsenal's Timber a doubt for second leg at PSG, Arteta confirms

Jurrien Timber missed Arsenal's 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday in the Premier League through injury, and is now a doubt to feature in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain, Mikel Arteta confirmed.
The Spanish coach did not give away details regarding the defender's problem, but explained he was missing from the matchday squad for the Cherries' visit to the Emirates due to a knock picked up in the first leg defeat to the Parisians on Tuesday.
Asked if he felt confident about the 23-year-old Dutchman's chances of starting in Wednesday's second leg at the Parc des Princes, Arteta said: "Confident? At the moment no, because he wasn’t able to play here and we play in four days."
With injured trio Gabriel, Tomiyasu and Calafiori already missing in defence, Timber's absence would be crucial for the Gunners. Arsenal travel to France aiming to overturn a 1-0 deficit and book their place in the Champions League final for the first time since 2006.
