Arsenal identify Frankfurt star Ekitike as alternative to Isak

The hunt for attacking gunpowder continues for Arsenal, who have been dreaming about a move for Alexander Isak in the summer transfer window. But the Gunners may be priced out as Newcastle demand £150m for the Swedish sensation.
As a result, Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike has been identified as a potential alternative - but only by Arsenal. The 22-year-old striker has caught the eye of various Premier League sides after bagging 19 goals so far across all competitions.
With the German club expected to demand around £60m for Ekitike, he represents a much more affordable and slightly youthful option than Isak. According to 'The Sun', Mikel Arteta's side are joined by Chelsea and Manchester United in the race to sign the Frenchman.
The Blues are said to be searching for a replacement for Jackson, while Hojlund and Zirzkee's struggles have prompted the Red Devils to look for options elsewhere. Ekitike may be the right man to go for after recently scoring a hat-trick for France's Under-21s while on international duty.
