Arsenal handed timely lift as Dembele faces race to be fit for second leg

Dembele has been central to PSG's resurgence under Luis Enrique in 2025, contributing 33 goals and 11 assists across all competitions. His form has played a key role in the club's domestic and European campaigns.

PSG issued a medical bulletin on Friday stating: "Ousmane Dembele has sustained a strain to his right hamstring. His recovery is progressing well. Further examinations will take place soon."

Luis Enrique has already ruled him out of Saturday's Ligue 1 clash against Strasbourg — a match of lesser consequence following their recent confirmation as league champions.

Should the 27-year-old fail to recover in time, it would come as a significant lift for Arsenal as they seek to overturn the 1-0 deficit and book a place in the Champions League final.
