Arsenal gives away their Champions League spot

When least expected, Arsenal lost again and has given hope to any teams eager to enter the Champions League the following season. Chelsea finds themselves with the same amount of points, and Manchester United is two away. 

A goal by Benteke helped Crystal Palace take the lead, and he then helped his team some more with an assit to Zaha in the second half. 

Crystal Palace dominated the clash and never fell behind to an Arsenal that was not at their best. Meanwhile, Ozil drew as soon as he returned from the dressing room.

Zaha and Mcarthur scored the second and third goals before Aubameyang managed to find a goal to spice up the game at the Emirates, although it was of little use.

Crystal Palace went on to protect their backs and the Gunners lacked punch and ideas to gain a much needed point. Their rival managed to win at the Emirates Stadium and guarantee their permance in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Arsenal's spot in the Champions League is now available, and the only way to keep it will be to win all their upcoming matches if they want to make an appearance in the 19-20 Champions League.
