Arsenal get quarter final off to flying start

Arsenal and Unai Emery made sure not to underestimate Napoli by putting out a strong starting line-up that featured the likes of Ozil, Lucas Torreira and Laurent Koscielny who was passed fit not long before the match.
Aaron Ramsey also made Emery's starting XI and proved exactly why he deserved to be there. He released the final dagger from a beautiful sequence of play that started with Ozil, to give Arsenal the lead.
From this point onwards, Napoli struggled to cope with the pace and pressure that the home side were able to achieve. So much so, that Lucas Torreira found himself with a goalscoring opportunity inside half an hour.
His shot from the edge of the D took a huge deflection off Kalidou Koulibaly, who had been working hard for Napoli, and made it impossible for Meret to stop. It went down as an own goal but all the work was done by Torreira in the run up.
Napoli struggled to keep Arsenal at bay for the remainder of the first-half.
