Arsenal, Barcelona and Manchester United are among those interested in acquiring the services of Royal Antwerp young star Arthur Vermeeren. Arsenal seem to be the team with the most interest in the player.

The good performances of Royal Antwerp's young star Arthur Vermeeren in the Belgian league have attracted a number of teams in Europe to sign him.

Arsenal, Barcelona and Manchester United are among the teams interested in the young star. Arteta's Arsenal seem to be the team leading the race ahead of the others to sign the midfielder, according to 'Sport'.

It is reported that Arsenal could make a £17million move in the January transfer window. The signing could take the place of Jorginho who is looking for a move away as he is not getting much playing time.

The former Chelsea player is out of contract in June and has already had Barcelona knocking on his door to sign him as a free agent. Barca are also following Vermeeren in an attempt to find a replacement for their legend Iniesta but it seems the Catalans' financial problems could put the brakes on the move.

Another interested team is Manchester United as Erik ten Hag loves the player's playing style. Vermeeren made his first-team debut last year and has been playing regularly this season, scoring one goal and providing five assists in 15 appearances in all competitions.
