Arsenal agree personal terms with Chelsea’s Madueke ahead of potential transfer

Arsenal have reached an agreement on personal terms with Chelsea winger Noni Madueke over a possible transfer during the summer transfer window.

The 23-year-old Englishman would be willing to swap Stamford Bridge for the Emirates, provided the two clubs can agree a financial deal.

According to various sources, there is still no consensus between the clubs on the transfer fee, although all parties believe the deal is feasible. Chelsea are aware of Arsenal's interest, but the Gunners have yet to make a formal offer for the striker.

Madueke, who is currently in Chelsea's squad for the Club World Cup, came on as a substitute in the 2-1 win over Palmeiras in the quarter-finals.

Information about Arsenal's interest was reported by BBC Sport, highlighting Madueke's versatility to play on both flanks as one of the main reasons for their pursuit.

The north London club are looking to bolster their creative options this summer and are also considering other names such as Real Madrid's Rodrygo and Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze.

The high cost of a hypothetical Rodrygo arrival has raised doubts over the viability of the move, although Arsenal have explored the possibility of signing the Brazilian.

Eze, meanwhile, has a £68million termination clause and Palace are adamant that they are demanding the full amount.
