Arda Guler set to START in upcoming 'Clasico'

Arda Guler is proving that he has what it takes to become a Real Madrid starter. The Turkish midfielder played a great role in the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona despite starting on the bench and was a key starter in the recent win over Celta. 

The former Fenerbahce player has not been able to find the playing time he is looking for at the 'Merengues' since he arrived at the club, but he has been gradually gaining importance in Carlo Ancelotti's plans. 

In fact, according to Spanish newspaper 'Relevo', Carlo Ancelotti has decided that the Turkish midfielder will start next Sunday's 'Clasico' against Barcelona, a key match in the fight for the La Liga title. 

Guler has scored 5 goals and provided 8 assists in 31 official appearances this season so far, although he has only started 14 times under Ancelotti.
