Antony's revival at Betis prompts calls for Man United return

The Brazilian produced a moment of brilliance in Betis' 3-1 victory over Girona on Sunday, finding the net with a precise right-footed volley—his weaker foot—following a superb delivery from Romain Perraud.
The strike marked his sixth goal in just 17 appearances since arriving in Seville during the January transfer window.
His form in Spain is in stark contrast to his underwhelming time at Old Trafford, where he struggled to justify the £86 million fee Manchester United paid Ajax in 2022.
The winger tallied only 12 goals and five assists across 96 appearances, falling out of favour following the appointment of Ruben Amorim.
However, under the guidance of Manuel Pellegrini at Betis, the 25-year-old appears revitalised. In addition to his six goals, he has also contributed four assists, and his recent performances have caught the attention of United supporters.
Social media was abuzz following his display against Girona, with many fans praising the quality of his finish and calling for the club to offer him a clean slate next season.
Whether United will opt to bring him back into the fold remains to be seen, but Antony's recent form is certainly making a case for another opportunity in Manchester.
