Almeria renew Rodrigo Ely and Alex Centelles

Good news for Rodrigo Ely and Alex Centelles. Both players will be able to enjoy Almeria in La Liga, as the club have closed the renewal of both players.

Both Ely and Centelles have been key players in the Andalusian team's promotion to the golden category of Spanish football. For this reason, the 28-year-old center-back has renewed his contract until 2024 and the 22-year-old left-back until 2026.

Ely, who will turn 29 on November 3rd, arrived at the club at the end of this season as a result of the plague of injuries suffered in defense by the team coached by Joan Francesc Ferrer.

The Italian-Brazilian has extended his contract for two more seasons. He earned a starting place from the beginning and, in fact, has played in the 12 remaining matches since he signed with them.

Meanwhile, the Valencian player, who has completed his second season at Almeria, has reached an agreement to remain at the club for four more seasons. Centelles arrived in October 2020 to commit for two seasons after having been at Valencia, a club that one season before arriving at the Almeria team loaned him to Famaliçao, of the Portuguese League.
