Alli: Euro 2016 debacle made us stronger

Allis was part of the team that crashed to a humbling 2-1 defeat in Nice two years again as England exited yet another tournament without making a meaningful impact.
However, Alli insists that rather than haunt the squad at this summer's tournament, the defeat can instead act as motivation to ensure the 'Three Lions' avoid a repeat performance.
"The Euros was one of the best and worst experiences of my career at the same time," he explained.
"Growing up, you watch the big tournaments on TV. You see the flags flying out of the windows and how much it means to the country - to be part of it was massive. But the way it ended in France was a huge disappointment.
"As a team, it would have been easy to hide, not to look back on it and get it out of our memories.
"But it was important we went through it, so that it doesn't happen again. I think as a team, and as individuals, we're stronger from going through that."
In his career to date Alli has failed to replicate his goalscoring form for his club on the international stage, with jsut two goals to his name in 22 appearances for his country and the 21-year-old admits that his performances for England haven't reached their maximum level as of yet.
"It's different because at Tottenham you are training every day, you are playing, then you go to England and it's different players to what you are used to with your club," he admitted.
"Everyone wants to play well for their country and maybe I haven't scored as many goals. But I'm still helping the team, still trying to get into the starting XI in every game.
"I definitely think we've gained from it [Euro 2016]. You never know what will happen in a tournament but, as a team we feel stronger, we feel more together, and we are learning from it."
