Alaves signs Argentine Facundo Garces who will join the club in January

Deportivo Alaves advanced the signing of Argentine central defender Facundo Garces this Saturday, who will join the club in January with a contract until 2028.

The player, whose contract with Club Atletico Colon will expire on December 31, has reached an agreement with the 'Babazorro' club, but will have to wait to join Alaves until January 1, 2025, when his contract with the Santa Fe club ends and the winter transfer market opens.

The 24-year-old centre-back was trained in the youth categories of the Argentine club from the age of youth and has played a total of 129 games with the first team between League, Cup and Libertadores. He stands out for his "defensive strength, height for the definition in the strategy and control in the ball exit", according to the Vitoria club.
