Barca have been interested in Yunus Musah for some time. The Catalans have been following the Valencia footballer for at least a couple of seasons.
If anyone was in any doubt as to whether reports of them being interested was true, his agent Giacomo Guidolin confirmed the news. Barcelona tried to bring the midfielder to the Camp Nou in June.
"Last summer, Barcelona made an approach, but negotiations were unsuccessful," he told 'CalcioMercato'. Barca were not the only team interested in the Valencia man: "They (Valencia) turned down 25 million euros from a Premier League team for the player."
'AS', a year a go, reported that Barca had already made an offer for Yunus Musah in summer 2021. An offer which was repeated just a few months ago. That is proof that the Catalan giants are very fond of the player who has come through the Valencia academy.
In the meantime, his agent is rubbing his hands with glee and is even putting a price tag on his player: "He knows that the World Cup could be an important opportunity to shine. I don't think Valencia will sell him for less than 30 or 40 million," he concluded.
